Just off Candy Cap Meadow and open to the sun, with fine afternoons and better evenings. The light comes through the pines here longer than anywhere else at camp. Named for the winter chanterelles that come up around it.
Room for 2 cars and up to about 8 people.
A night here is $25 for the site and $25 for each adult, half that for teens 12 to 17, and free for children under 12, with a minimum of $75 a night. Firewood is $8 a night on top.
